Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. Her mother is English and her father Nigerian. She was born and lived in a housing estate run by the council in the south of London. In the ages of fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. She studied acting in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. In her time at the school, she performed in numerous stage plays, such as King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting journey began with Storm Damage. Since then, she has been a guest star on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut was her role in the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. The following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. She also had the opportunity to play the role in the role of Bambi on The ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the series two and three. Madekwe appeared in the comedy How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 when she appeared on the thriller The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before it was ended on The CW. In February of 2011 she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. In late May 2013, it was announced that Madekwe, who had played a regular role in the two previous seasons, was to leave the series with a guest appearance on the premier episode of the new season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. From June to July 2012, Madekwe was married to her long-time love actor Iddo Goldberg. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as partners in Salem.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball parks because the four brothers who were athletic played hockey and baseball as well as both during winter and summer. Ashley couldn't walk, however she was able to dance. In the end, as she grew older She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing shortly after she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley was a competitive dancer across all major divisions until she finished high school. She was a competitor in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, as well as Acrobatics. Additionally, she was awarded best soloist awards at all important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
