Amanda Brugel

Brugel is the only Canadian actor in the Season 1 team. It was her only appearance occasionally. After Season 2, she became a regular cast member and remains a part of it today. In response to questions about her character in the show and if there are any similarities to her own life outside the camera, Brugel said that she used her experiences with racism to relate to the way Marthas are dealt with. "I do not just apply it in her house position as the Martha but, like I said, it's my previous moments when I'm feeling like I was being held down by circumstances because of race." Even though I've never suffered physical assault due to my skin color however, I have certainly experienced physical abuse. When someone is saying something sharp or even biting at me, I'll use any racial or physical insults that are real to me. This is almost like hitting her during every scene. Amanda Amanda Amanda

Her birthplace was Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November 1986. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo and her mom Valerie Barba.
